Typically, when searching for a place for your new nebular projector you need to find somewhere near a power outlet. Not so with this projector, it can be charged up and will run on an internal battery!
Amazing Product Item
A low cost star and nebular projector, good value for the price although some people will dislike having green stars, but at least they vary in size, giving more of a starry night feel.

Pros
- Works away from power outlet
- Small footprint
- Red/green/blue nebula
- Can disable stars
Cons
- Green stars
- Not keen on the ripple effect
This is a fun little unit, ideal for children and for adding atmosphere to a room. In the box you get the projector, USB charging cable and a remote.
There are controls on the unit if you don’t want to use the remote (or you misplace it!). There are 3 buttons:
Mode 1: Turns on, switches between 5 modes and when held for 2 seconds turns off
Mode 2: Adjusts another 4 modes.
Brightness Mode: Sets brightness to either low light, normal, or strong light mode.
It takes a couple of hours to fully charge and can be used for around 4 to 5 hours. Fortunately, you don’t need to fully charge it to use it; it’s fine to turn it on while it’s being charged.
It’s a simple design that has several build in stand points. These allow you to adjust the angle the projector sits at, that way you don’t have to have it just pointing directly up, you can also put it at an angle.
Nebula Projection
When powered on you’ll see the moon, stars and a colourful nebula projected on your ceiling.

The nebula can be set to change colour and provide a rippling movement appearance. If you’ve a preference for how it looks, you can keep it on a single colour instead of having it change.

There is also the option to have the projection ‘shimmer’, to try and give an ocean effect. I wasn’t too keen on this, it was more like a flashing effect and it wasn’t very relaxing. Don’t worry, if you don’t like it you don’t need to put this on.
It comes with green dots that act as stars. The stars vary in size, and they can fade in and out. The fading isn’t a smooth fade; instead you’ll notice the step change in brightness, more obvious when you only have the stars showing without the nebula.

You can control all these different modes from the nebula projector, or by using the included remote control.
Room Brightness
If you’re after a galaxy projector that keeps your room dark this isn’t the one for you!
Despite its small size, it manages to light up a room, so it’d be good if you’re looking for ambiance rather than pitch black star gazing.

So although it’s a very quiet unit I wouldn’t recommend leaving it on while going to sleep, it’s very likely the light will stop you from getting a good nights rest.
What do others think?
In general, this has been very positively received. People like the different modes, kids love them and the small size impresses.
As one of the cheapest models I’ve tried I have to agree, it’s a decent all round little nebula projector that makes for a great present in the winter months when it’s dark and cold.
